A freewheel system is in place to prevent the pedals from turning, along with steering locking to prevent interference, when the parent is pushing.

First used as a pushchair from 10 months, once your child reaches around 3 years old, they will be able to pedal on the tricycle independently making the Baby Balade a great long-lasting solution for parents. The parental handle can be removed as necessary while the anti-slip pedals and easy-grip handlebars ensure maximum comfort for your child.
